PlanetRisk is looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to support the HR Director with the PlanetRisk HR Recruiting Initiatives. Seeking an individual with strong government contract recruiting experience. Person must be interested in working in a fast-paced, process-driven start-up environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple business units
  • Develop strong relationships and partner with hiring manager and business leaders
  • Work closely with Hiring Managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process
  • Develop and execute comprehensive recruiting strategies utilizing all tools such as direct sourcing, online resume databases, social networking, and job events
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria
  • Regular follow up with the respective hiring managers and candidates to ensure timeliness of recruitment procedures
  • Support the Director of Human Resources in meeting the HR Recruiting initiatives of PlanetRisk/Analytic Strategies
  • At times, support the human resources strategies by assisting in department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, AA/EEO compliance, and labor relations


  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business
  • 4+ years of Technology Staffing/Recruitment experience preferably for a small company
  • 4+ years corporate recruiting experience with a government contractor
  • Experience recruiting cleared professionals
  • Experience using a variety of online recruitment tools such as Monster, Dice, Clearance Jobs and experience using an applicant tracking system (Ascentis HRIS experience is a plus but not a requirement)
  • Strong understanding and ability to recruit at all levels of the organization from entry level to corporate staff
  • Knowledge of EEO, ADA and OFCCP requirements
  • Ability to create SOP’s that adhere to CMMI and ISO standards
  • Decisive ability to shift priorities and function effectively in a dynamic fast paced work culture
  • Strong understanding of the recruiting aspects involved in the Government proposal environment
  • Flexibility to work surge hours as required during proposal time frames
